Co-hosted Event: Digital Humanities and Digitization Workshop for Japanese Materials

NIJL will co-host the “Digital Humanities and Digitization Workshop for Japanese Materials” in Vancouver, Canada, together with the North American Coordinating Council on Japanese Library Resources (NCC) and the International Institute for Digital Humanities.

In the afternoon session, the program will include an introduction to the Digitization Grant Program jointly undertaken by NIJL and the NCC, reports from the first-round grant recipients (Oberlin College, UBC, and the UC Berkeley), and an “Open Discussion on Issues related to Japanese Codicology” led by Prof. Davin from NIJL.

 

The Digital Humanities and Digitization Workshop for Japanese Materials will be held in collaboration with the following:
