International Conference on Japanese Literature(ICJL)
This conference has been held continuously since the opening of our institution in 1977, aiming to advance Japanese literary studies from a broad perspective and to deepen international research exchange. We welcome presentations from researchers both domestic and international, with a particular focus on the next generation of scholars.
The conference is held every May, and we solicit research presentations from mid-August to mid-November of the previous year. The selection of presenters is conducted by the Expert Committee for the International Conference on Japanese Literature, an expert committee of our institution’s International Collaboration Division (including external members), which also oversees the management of the conference.
